8.  Martin Shrikle -  the $700 pill -  Daraprim  (costing only $1 to manufacture)

9.  ImDB in Malaysia -  robbing the Malaysia sovereign fund

10.  Theranos -Elizabeth Holmes - blood testing fraud, compared to Steve Jobs

11, Wire card -  $2.1B were missing and claimed they are in PHL banks, but was denied by PHL banks

      EY is the auditor, and missed

12.  Archegos eventually caused the downfall of Credit Suisse;   it caused losses in major IB

13.  FTX   Sam Bankman- Fried

Regulators cant control scams.  Just beware.

Cargo thefts are on the rise.   Law enforcement agencies have their hands full neutralizing their nefarious activities.   This involves impersonation and identity thefts to get into the supply chain and steal ....

The losses amount to billion which eventually are passed on to consumers.  We suffer as a result.  This must be stopped

More and more people are being fooled by fake news.   This is due to the many soc media platform, many vloggers and lack of fact checking.   I often have been lured to click (click bait) by a controversial cover or title only to find out that the the content has no connection with the headline.  

So you have no way of checking the video to be true or not.   Is legislation the answer.?  Or the platform must check the content being published.  

While fake news per se is not a scam yet (because no one has been gypped of money yet) it is important to note that policies and peeople reaction can change because of fake news.  Or eventually buy the product that is non existent.  

The two warring parties that of the Pres and past presidents have scored most on fake news

Before this post was disappointed that none or few read the posts here.   But thankfully after months, readership has gone up a bit.

Maybe the posts are more relevant and interesting and a lot of people are beginning to care for  ther hard assets being robbed by scammers

I was advising a  group of young entrepereneurs who are on start up portion of their venture.   However they stalled.  No one was movign to get the papers finished and signed.    No one was moving and product development has not started.  They could not even open a bank account for expenditures and receipt.

So what happens.   The whole business venture fails to materialize and deliver and thus beoomes a dishonest proposition    Your inability to deliver the promised features and benefits is a scam.

So be determined.   Keep your promises, your word.   That is a secret of success.  KEEP YOUR WORD.  Execute what you promised.  Be persistent, Be determined

They rake in huge amounts of currency through their books, audio tapes, podcasts, videos.  But do they deliver?  Did they follow what they taught.?  Did their prediction (bearish) happen?  Do you still believe in them

This post posted many articles on entrepreneurship and business management.  They are experience based stories.   Are they like my colleagues who teach supply chain management but have not quarreled with truckers, employees or have corrected a bad PO.?

How come some people can feed thier families with currency earned through ill will.   We pray more people can be honest, caring, and in the service of others.    Maybe in the cities you need Php or $ to survive.... That is why there is religion.

We strive to help other people with free information/blogs.   Others simply want to carve pound of flesh from others.

The counter measures:

1.  Befriend mechanics so that they can motivate them to be honest.

Just a while, an ad came into my screen luring me to an Edison invention that generates free electricity.  Naturally this post tried to verify this against other sites and just as I suspected, it is a scam.  Beware.

I could have been that sucker.

Before there was this former high ranking state university regent Prez of a db, and who ran a housing company.  We did the housing construction for him, he did the bank matters and marketing.   He had a plush office in Makati CBD and was married to a very very rich family.

The last time I heard he was in the land of milk and honey and lately he sought my friendship in a social media and inquired if this post has heard about at World Bank program to give aid to the poor.  This post tried to get access to the website but it was only processing loans.  Then he referred me to a person, a Chinese whom he said processed the grants. He asked me to fill up a form which I did and answered in an hour (without using the agency's form) that I have been approved for $100,000.  However this is the catch I had to pay the delivery charge of 1% of the grant.  I said just deduct from the grant.  I did not hear from them again.

Sounds like a variation of Nigerian scam.  How could a former colleague try to lure me into a scam?  Life is so hard at that country.
